  Protective Band

Bands provide additional protection for components packed in carrier tape and wound on a reel. It is slightly wider than the carrier tape and protects the components by fully covering the carrier tape on the reel. It attaches to the outer edges of the reel, adding extra strength to the package, and offers superior protection during vacuum packing and whilst in transit. Plastlist protective bands have anti-static properties that provide ESD protection. Plastlist protective bands are available in most industry-standard widths.
